Perfect for families, our King Room can accommodate up to three guests with a king bed and single bed.

The MONT Queen Room
Featuring a comfortable queen bed and private bathroom, this is the ideal room for couples.

The Mont is conveniently located just a short walk from Claremont Plaza and public transport is right at your doorstep. Buses head into the city every hour from Stop 48, just 150 metres from the hotel. The Intercity cycle way is located right near The Mont for you to ride into the city at ease, away from traffic.
Looking to explore during your stay at The Mont? There are a range of local attractions to enjoy. Check out the famously intriguing, Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), just a 3-minute drive from your accommodation. People travel far and wide to experience MONA’s unusual collection exhibitions and artifacts. You can enjoy a ferry trip between MONA and, grab a bite to eat or a drink, and wander through the museum.
For a bit of fresh air, visit the Glenorchy Art and Sculpture Park. This park by the water is home to a playground, sporting courts, and a great boardwalk walk across the water.

All guests are required to present a government-issued photo ID and a valid credit card on check in.
We accept payment on arrival via EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Card and American Express. Payment via cheque is not accepted.
Yes. All of our rooms are non-smoking, but we have a smoking area just outside. In the case of non-compliance, you will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.
While we do love animals, we don’t allow animals in our rooms for the safety of our allergy-suffering guests. Hotel pet policies do not apply to service animals.
There will be no cancellation charge if the booking is cancelled 72–hours before arrival, 50% refund for a booking cancelled 48–hours before arrival and no refund for booking cancelled 24–hours before arrival.
